Coaching the "fit" and the "not-so-fit" runner
Services
2dogs...Running (2dR) based in Ann Arbor, MI, is all about creating "super-stars". Coach (2dogs...) Gina became a super-star in 1994 when she broke all her own personal road racing records from the 5K to the marathon - qualifying for Boston and running the marathon after her second qualifying in 1998. Inspired by how she felt from all her hard work, she created 2dR in order to pass stardom over to other like-minded, motivated individuals.

2dR Mission:
To provide services that will teach and motivate the individual runner to develop into the best that he/she can be. To be knowledgeable and competent in providing information and services to the running community. To set standards for individuals to incorporate health and fitness into his/her life. To provide services to the community that are fitness based and fun for all individuals.

How is a "super-star" created?
Individuals learn how to apply themselves and achieve goals that may seem impossible to most. Through professional coaching services they are able to accomplish goals, big or small, that help that individual burst out of the old self and become a bright shining "Super Star".

What does 2dR offer?

  • Running Programs (private and group)
  • Support for local running groups (Damsels 'n d'street and Running Fit 501)
  • Working relationships with other like minded fitness coaches to help runners become the best they can be.

Private Coaching:
Set up a private one on one consult. The consult includes planning running goals, evaluating your running history, setting up a training schedule and plan, one month of email support for your training goals, schedule and plans. Cost: $100 for four weeks.

Following your first month: After four weeks, you can continue with private coaching via email to Coach Gina for $50/month.

Group Coaching
Along with Steve Angerman, Running Fit's COO, Gina has helped expand Running Fit's Marathon 101 program to "Marathoning 501" ("Running Fit 501"), a five month program for runners looking to train for a half or full marathon. Two sessions/year (Jan to June and June to Oct). This program offers a group work out during the week and a long run on the weekend. It is open at all Running Fit locations. As program director, Gina helps runners realize their running potential while having fun doing it.

"Because every runner has a different goal and because every runner has different needs - Running Fit 501 was created".

If you would like to go and 'try out' the group training, you can drop in for $5,  click here for locations and starting times.
